Nichada Lake is already used for recreational purposes. The company called
Kiwi Fishing Bangkok describes Nichada Lake as a 'fisherman's paradise.' In addition, the
Nichada Thani website advertises itself as having 'a resort-like atmosphere.'
The man-made lake at Nichada Thani would be a great place to go swimming - if only a 'beach' or some kind of platform was created so that young people and adults could safely get into and out of the water.
Residents of Nichada Thani (and high-paying tourists) would certainly enjoy a dip in this large and beautiful body of water rather than swimming back and forth in a rectangular pool. If people could swim in Nichada Lake, experiences and memories would be that much richer!
