DIRECTV BILLING SCAMS

Beware of this unethical company.  They will bill your credit cards without authorization and debit your checking accounts without authorization for any early cancellation fees they have unfairly billed to you.  If someone other than you paid on your account, they will store this info as well and if you can not be billed the early cancellation fees because you may have closed your checking account or cancelled your credit card, they will charge the credit card or debit the checking account of any other person that has made a payment on your account. No one has ever been able to produce a signed contract that Directv tries to make you believe they have mailed to you.  Anytime you call this company to get explanations of added fees and changed monthly service charges, you get nothing but lies and rudness.  There is a class action suit pending in Los Angeles for early cancellation fees and this is for everyone no matter where they live in the U.S.  On the Southern California Better Business bureau web page they show 29,929 complaints against this company as of 6-16-09  Please check out the  web page (ASK) and look up Directv Complaints and you will then be able to see thousands of complaints made against this company.  Please sign this petition and get the word out to anyone you can that may be considering having this company signed up as their satellite provider.  At least you will then be informed in advance of how this company  conducts business.  You will be sorry in the end if you have this satellite installed by Directv.  It may only take one day to 12 years that you will have their service, but be assured, you will definitely be billed a whopping big early cancellation fee no matter what your circumstance may be.  When you call to get explaination from this company you will never be given any satisfaction. It will  happen that you are going to be scammed by Directv.!!!!!!!!!!  On Sept 29,2009 I received an E-mail note from the assistant attorney general in Arizona in regards to Directv. they wanted to know if Directv sent me a credit report letter on the $200 deposit they demanded and would not return.  Of course they never sent me one so I told them NO. The attorney general of Arizona is investigating Directv. This should be interesting if it hits the networks.
