Dog Enthusiast or Puppy Mill Owner?

We, the undersigned, are in opposition of the Santa Barbara County Planning Commissions decision to approve a private citizen to breed and house 20 toy size dogs in a residential Ag neighborhood. Allowing the applicant of this kennel the ability to house up to 44 dogs on her property is in direct violation of the County of Santa Barbara's Land Use and Development Code 35.42.060.The SB County's Zoning Administrator's decision was in error and an abuse of discretion.   This applicant is a seasoned "dog show" competitor and it is our opinion that she is breeding for the sole purpose of finding the "perfect" specimen of her breed.   We do not believe that this is ethical nor is it reasonable to put this facility near families who enjoy there quiet neighborhood.
