Russ Feingold is eminently qualified for the Presidency. As a Senator for eighteen years, he served on the Judiciary, Foreign Relations, Budget, and Intelligence Committees. He's currently a visiting law professor at Marquette University in Wisconsin and is Founder of Progressives United .org.
Russ Feingold has proven himself as a champion of progressive Democratic ideals. His fearless support for the middle-class, open government and campaign finance reform, and speaking-out against the corrupt Bush Administration, its illegal war in Iraq, the Patriot Act, and financial deregulation showed the kind of leadership we are currently lacking in the Democratic Party.

We the undersigned ask that you consider running in the Democratic primary to challenge President Obama for the Presidency in 2012. We are desperate for a leader who has the experience and strength to fight for progressive ideals against a radical right wing that is gaining strength at an alarming rate. We fear that the middle-class and working-poor will suffer greatly at the hands of the radical right, creating a permanent underclass that will not be able to fight the corporate takeover of American politics. We need you!
