FMSCA unfair csa scores

If we do not oppose and stop the S. 1950 FMCSA from continuing to publish the scores it assigns trucking companies under its so-called "Compliance,Safety,Accountability" or CSA program, thousands of trucking companies will be put out business. The scores threy apply to us is UNFAIR and is causing havoc. CSA is costing business for perfectly safe carriers that either have a black eye under the flawed CSA measures or lack enough inspection data to have a CSA score. CSA exposes shippers and brokers to vicarious liability for accidents that may befall perfectly safe carriers handling their freight. CSA continued official use and abuse, and its possible expansion under S. 1950, will lead to fewer drivers, fewer trucks, less trucking capacity, higher rates, less competition and greater liability exposure.We need to stop making CSA scores public, and stop touting CSA usage by the shipping public.
To all my non trucking friends, what this means is there will be a lot of trucking companies put out of business. Never mind that we have been in the business for over 40 years. Prices will soar, if you think groceries, clothing, cars,ANYTHING you purchase is priced high now,just wait. There will not be enough trucks to deliver the freight and prices will soar--and passed on to you.  The unfair scores are like you getting a speeding ticket, and someone you let driver your vehicle, get a speeding ticket, and it gets put on YOUR mvr. It may be littering,loitering, speeding, dui, or anything you get cited for, and YOU are responsible....Never mind the taxes we pay in to the state every year!! Never mind we make our payments on time, have a good credit score, work hard to deliver the things YOU need every day....I guess then the Mexicans will come across the border and take on the jobs we will be losing*** I can see that happening, and they dont even have to have a safety rating...The unemployment lines are already long enough--forclosures are already unreal--and to think--the FMCSA--is going to see to it that they add fuel to the fire. WAKE UP AMERICA!!! Where are OUR rights??? We are willing to work and YOU want to put us in the unemployment line!!!! Is that the new American Way??? We used to all stand together--and we can do it again--LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD!!!
