We, the undersigned, certify the following ideas and the effort to join forces for the betterment of the African people & continent.
//Ideas for Africa by Africans//
1. Africans as well as those persons of African descent should play a key role in defining and shaping the future of the African continent.
2. All individuals should be integral components in helping Africa reach its full potential. This includes but is not limited to the use of the continents natural and human resources.
3. Those individuals seeking to make a difference in the lives of Africans should come together as a unit, combining their skills, energies, talents, abilities, and knowledge for the production of goods or the rendering of services.
4. Access to clean drinking water should be ensured for all Africans.
5. Africans should increase their knowledge on agriculture and cultivation of energy alternatives in order to maximize self-reliance and decrease environmental strain.
6. Health and education programs in Africa should be supported and adapted to accomplish the goal of increasing positive leadership and self-sufficiency.
7. Creative incentives and rewards need to be created to have African health professionals stay and practice in the continent as well as attract overseas practitioners to come to the continent; offering their time and services for the improvement of the health of the people living in the Diaspora.
8. Quality primary and secondary education should not be a privilege but rather a right for all children in Africa, regardless of ability to pay.
9. Innovative employment opportunities should be created for the youth of Africa in all sectors, from technology and engineering, to the fine arts and communications.
10. A network of public libraries should also be established, providing publications for all reading levels to enjoy.
We, the undersigned, endorse The Forward Ever Backward Never Fund & Campaign that aims to sponsor charitable projects initiated by young Africans in the Diaspora for their native homelands.
