Abolish the statute of limitations for child Molestation in Indiana
In the state of Indiana there is a law that protects childmolesters.When a person is molested as a child and they become an adult and decide to deal with the horrible guilt and shame, they can not prosecute the person who did this to them after a peroid of time because our law makers protect them with a statue of limitations..I intend to fight against this law..
We the undersigned would like to thank you for takeing time to read this,My name is Dean Finley and like countless others I am a victim of horrible sexual abuse,from my most trusted of people my family doctor .It began when I was a child of ten years old.later in life i learned that at least thirteen other boys(who are now grown men)were also victims of this sick predator.This man did not stand tril for none of these crimes.Because of the guilt and shame i had inside of me it took until i was in my 40s to deal with my pain.to my shock i found out that because of the statue of limitations he can not be touched in any way .So while the GOOD doctor enjoys his retirement on the beach myself and the other victims are left with no way for closure.The lawmakers in our state protect him from being held accountable for what he has done.I am going to fight this law for myself and all the other victims in our state .Thank you for your support.Dean
