Keep my part private

It used to be a joke: could Superman's X-ray vision see through Lois Lane's clothes?

Now, millions of air travellers may be asking themselves a similar question as they pass through airport security. Heathrow Airport is considering installing the scanner permanently after the machine had been introduced in Manchester Airport.

It is now compulsory for people selected for a scan to participate otherwise they will not be allowed to fly. There have been concerns the scanners breach passengers%u2019 right to privacy. It is first said that the images generated by the body scanner cannot be stored or captured nor can security officers viewing the images recognise people. But is completely false since the system uses a computer so, by definition images are processed and stored. Further more, the scanners have been proven fraudulent after it was revealed that naked images of Indian film star Shahrukh Khan were printed out and circulated by airport staff at Heathrow airport.

This petition is an effort to stop Heathrow airport implementation of installing full body scanners and cause awareness that our privacy is invaded in anytime, by anybody.
