Publix Supermarket

Publix Supermarket is not pro consumer. They expect us to shop there but their prices are higher than every other store around. When contacted about doubling coupons here in the Englewood Florida area store they responded with an email. They stated they had no competition and didn't need to.  They took the same stand when asked about their advertising scheme that states they take competitor coupons. They claim Target Store is NOT a competitor. but there are signs on the registers that they take Sweet Bay's coupons. Sweet Bay doesn't have coupons on line to print like Target does so how stupid is Publix? Or better yet how stupid do they think the consumers are?
I have written to several chains to ask them to come to our area and help the consumers out. All the stores have responded positively, hopefully they will lighten our load.
