Same-Sex Marriage in South Carolina

We live in America. The supposed "Land of the Free". But we are not free. We do not have the legal right to same sex marriage in the United States. Gay and lesbian Americans deserve respect and rights just as heterosexuals do. Homosexual people are just that... "People". They are not aliens, they are not a different species. They are everyday people. They are engineers, farmers, telephone operators, lawyers, doctors, cashiers, bakers, and teachers. The list goes on and on. They are not out to turn the nations heterosexual people gay. Like so many homophobic people believe. All they want is the right to love their partner, and be able to provide for them the same way heterosexual people do.
