Southends test centre is shutting down & moving

Roads: as you may or may not be aware, there are only 2 roads in to, and out of southend. These are the A13 & A127, & both of these roads are very heavily congested on a daily basis, plus these roads are on a daily basis, accident HOT SPOTS, & on many occasions, one or both roads are closed due to accidents.
Tourist resort: Southend on sea, is a very popular tourist resort. Millions of tourists come here every year. Once again, this means more congetstion & delays for all.
Thames gate housing plans: Approximately another 250,000 homes will be built & any spare land, southend side of sadler's farm roundabout, is being developed. The development of land extends as far Shoeburyness and Great Wakering.
Southend airport: Southend council has agreed plans for a rail extenstion  to incorporate southend airport, and plans are ready for a £12,000,000 upgrade to the airport and within the next 4 years, the owners of the airport expect over 2,000,000 passengers flying out of southend airport a year. What with this number of passengers and the freight that will be flying out too, this will increase the congestion on the A13 &  A127 many fold.
   Closing southend on sea test centre, will be a disaster. What with extra costs involved and the very high risk of not making our test times due to traffic problems, which will happen, will be a great problem for the thousands of learner drivers and ADI's now, and the tens of thousands of learner drivers in the future.
