Support Columbia Falls Poultry Hen Ownership

Please sign this petition showing your support to amend Columbia Falls zoning ordinance 18.434.010 to allow non-permitted ownership of poultry hens (no roosters) not limited to lot size within the city limits.

With the proper planning, we believe that poultry could live within our city without causing a nuisance and provide wonderful benefits for those who decide to own them. The current problem is that most people who live within the city limits do not own a parcel of land great than one acre, extinguishing the possibility of poultry ownership.

Specifications such as the number of poultry, coop requirements, and setback distance are pending.
