I look at kids today and wonder how did we allow our kids to get so out of hand. I hear kids cursing, talking to teachers, parents, and almost any adult these days as if they (the kids) were adults themselves. Where did we drop the ball as far as teaching our kids their place in society. I remember the old saying, "Kids are to be seen and not heard." I can't say I agree with this, but there has to be a happy medium. I know that the respect of authority figures have left our kids. The Bible says, "Raise up a child in the way they should go and they will not depart from it." We have to require our children to be respectful and hold them accountable when they are not. I feel part of the problem is that kids are given more access and knowledge that they are to immature to handle. We need to find the boundaries and put them back up.
