Stop Unnecessary Drunk Driving Deaths. Make Breathalyzers Mandatory!

Every 2 minutes someone is injured in a drunk driving crash (From www.MADD.org). When someone is able to operate an automobile while intoxicated, they put their own life in danger as well as the lives of innocent people. Many people have shown that they cannot be trusted to make the right choice in these situations. People should not be able to drive unless they show that they are sober.
Mandatory breathalyzers in every automobile would make it extremely difficult for an intoxicated individual to be able to drive. They would have to find a sober person willing to breathe into the breathalyzer in order for the vehicle to start. Obviously, asking someone this question should be made illegal. Hopefully if someone is asked they will call the police to ensure that the idiotic individual is never a threat to anyone else. Some people may find it annoying to breathe into the breathalyzer before every road trip, but isn't a breath worth saving lives? Let's end drunk driving once and for all!
