Residents are dealing with a rat/mouse infestation and intercom outage for about 6 months now due to lack of staff to maintain the cleanliness of our complex, the janitor is not a full-time employee which makes it hard for him to keep up with the everyday needs of a large building; Management apparently does not see why they should have the janitor as a full-time person (basically they do not want to pay) although this is what we as a community needs is someone to work full time to KEEP THIS PLACE CLEAN! We are the working poor and or living on a fixed income, elderly people live here as well and need to be in a place free and clear of trash and vermin and feel safe from harm! We are surviving to live in a decent apartment complex however the management does not care for our needs and we need to make a change!
We pay rent and we should be able to come home to a well-kept and safe building! This is not healthy or safe for anyone! we are fed up with the disrespect and lack of support for our well being. The intercom system has been out of order for about 6 months which leaves any outsider to hide in the stairwell since the doors are kept open all day and night when at one time we needed to use a special key to enter and since now the intercoms are nonfunctioning this poses danger to us all! This is a major safety concern and needs to be dealt with ASAP!
