Valpo Student-Athlete Graduation Stole Proposal

Valpo student-athletes may sign this petition before October 1 to indicate support for student-athletes wearing a designated stole at graduation. Graduation stoles are sashes worn draped over the shoulders at a commencement ceremony to denote achievement in academics or extracurriculars. The photo above is an example.  Stole color and design will be voted on by SAAC after University approval of this proposal.  The cost of the stoles will be paid for by the Athletics department.  Other MVC schools honor student-athletes with graduation stoles, including Loyola, Evansville, and Drake.  The more Valpo student-athlete signatures we have on this petition, the stronger we can make our case to the University.
