Tell ICE: “You Shot Him in the Back. Let Him Get the Medical Care He Needs!”

ICE agents shot 28-year-old Wilber Rafael Garces Perez in the back in Austin, Texas.

He was taken to a hospital with a bullet still lodged in his back near his spine.

Then, just four hours later, ICE took him on a 135-mile trip to a detention center.

It doesn't matter what your position is on immigration. Anyone with a brain knows that when a guy has just been shot and still has a bullet lodged near his spine, it's not time for a road trip.

Garces Perez later lost movement on his left side and was rushed back to a hospital.

Then ICE sent him back to detention again.

What the hell is wrong with the ICE?  They shot a guy in the back, they didn't let him stay with the doctors who were helping him, and they are STILL pulling bullshit, instead of doing the right thing.
