Protect Your Internet from Corporate Censorship!
In the last decade, the Internet in the U.S. has emerged as a place where users can share and access any free and legal content they choose. But next week, one decision by the Senate could effectively kill the Internet as we know it.
The "resolution of disapproval" (S.J. Res 6) would strip control away from Internet users. Instead, it would allow Internet Service Providers like Comcast, AT&T and Verizon to decide what content they deem acceptable for sharing online. AT&T and Verizon already have the ability to block mobile-based Internet at will. They've told several major publications that they will have no problem with picking and choosing the content available to their users.
Every Internet user should have the ability to share and access free and legal content without censorship. The future of Net Neutrality literally rests on the whims of a handful of Senators. Sign this petition to protect the Internet today.

It is absolutely vital that the FCC has the capacity to protect Net Neutrality from the fiscal interests of Internet Service Providers. The idea that one site could promote its availability to users through a fee is a blatant and underhanded example of censorship.
The "resolution of disapproval" would only serve to benefit already giant corporations. On behalf of your constituents, I strongly urge you to reject it today.
