Take action for a GMO-free Europe

An explosive study published by the Austrian government, on Tuesday November 11, identified serious health threats of genetically engineered (GE) crops. Mice fed with GE maize were severely impaired in their fertility, and produced fewer children than mice fed with natural crops. This study shows how little we know about GM products and their long-term impacts on our health and the environment. It also shows how flawed the current EU risk assessment system is.

The European Food Safety Authority runs inadequate safety checks on GMOs and often just rubber stamps what agro-chemical industry experts say. December 4 could be the day we turn it around -- If we can convince Ministers meeting that day to vote for strict controls and a reformed EFSA.

Only 21 days left until the Environment Council vote! TAKE ACTION:

Support the anti-GMO governments

Austria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovenia

Shift the governments in the middle

Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Slovakia

Pressure the pro-GMO governments

Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Spain, United Kingdom

What we need now is to:

1.       Encourage the good politicians (those who have already chosen the environment and consumer protection over GMOs) to speak up;

2.       Show to the undecided ones that European citizens want them to protect our food, health and environment;

3.       Convince the pro-GMO politicians to recognize the risks posed by GMOs.

Some Ministers are already on our side but many are still sitting on the fence. There is also a small but powerful group of countries willing to block any meaningful reform of the current flawed GMO authorisation system. Meanwhile, the European Commission's President Barroso (behind closed doors) is actively pushing Member States to spread GMOs in the EU.

We have produced a cure, the AntiCorp against Monsantosis, a sickness caused by the Monsantus avidus virus, which is threatening European politicians.

Please, help us distribute AntiCorp to all European governments to make sure they stay immune from the pressure of the pro-GMO lobby and commit to protecting our food, health and environment instead of the economic interests of a handful of agro-chemical companies!
