Too many children including my own and teachers are staying sick from the mold and mice problem at Jay elementary (front ofc building) The response from parents with sick kids going to the school that are in this building or were at one point is overwhelming including doctor reports that it is believed to be from mold exposure, It's not a coincidence and it isn't safe to keep sending our kids to a "sick" school. I am my children's advocate as you are for your children, stand up for them and demand that something be done about these unhealthy conditions. It is not normal for mice and squirrels to run through a classroom full of children.They leave behind urine and droppings that are unsafe for our babies,nor is it right that the teachers have to put mice strips down because the county won't take responsibility for the problem, they should be solely focused on educating our children and the teachers deserve better. Everyday we send our kids to this school we are potentially putting their health at risk. Sign this petition please to get this issue resolved and to protect our children's health. Make the school board be held accountable for these issues going unresolved and hid for years. Take a stand for our children's safety. Thank you in advance for your support.
