Have you heard of mink fur eyelash extensions and eyebrows? Animals suffer so that people can have them, big time!

"Many companies (and members of the public) have been duped into believing these eyelashes are cruelty-free.
"There is no kind of mink farm where they are allowed to roam free. Mink would not be able to be kept free-range because they are aggressive, solitary animals and would fight each other within the restricted area.
"Life on a fur farm is nothing short of horrific.
"Along with being kept in tiny, wire bottomed cages, mink are not given access to water to bathe in despite being semi-aquatic animals.
"Because mink are not domesticated animals they are naturally afraid of humans, and being kept in dirty, wire cages is awful for them, going against all their natural instincts.
"There is nothing humane or ethical about depriving these animals of their behavioral and physiological needs. Fur-farming is nothing more than torture," according to The Dodo.
But it gets worse...

They're slaughtered with gas.
"The only method of euthanasia approved for mink harvesting in the U.S. is gas: either pure carbon monoxide (CO), or carbon dioxide (CO2)," said Fur Commission USA.
Can you imagine having a life like this?
You're kept in a tiny cage, barely big enough for you to move in.
You live in constant terror.
And all you have to look forward to is suffocation...
You know that's no way for any creature to live.
They way to put an end to this abuse is to ban the sale of products made from mink fur.
Because if the farmers don't have a market, they have no incentive to carry on the cruelty.
Senator Bernie Sanders has been a long-term advocate for animal rights, and has co-sponsored numerous pieces of legislation to protect endangered species, as well as to combat animal cruelty.
That's why we're asking him to lead a movement in Congress that would ban the sale of mink fur products in the USA.
