Citizens and vistiors of Channelside!
Have you been bothered by the constant barking and howling of dogs at 117 Channelside Cove? This property backs onto a park and playground where many neighbors in Channelside venture to walk their dogs, take their children to the playground, or take a leisurely stroll.
The owner of the dogs at 117 Channelside Cove fails to obey city bylaws- no.788 section 401 (c)
Those residing in the same culdesac and those backing onto the park have been awoken in the night, and disturbed during the day, as the dog's owner has consistently left the animals unattended in the back yard for hours or sometimes days on end.
For well over a year now, select residents of Channelside Cove have made many efforts to attempt to remedy this situation, including contacting RCMP, Municipal Enforcement, and not to mention many kind requests from many neighbors directly to the animals owner to provide proper care for their animals...all to no avail.
It has been made clear by Municipal enforcement that if this problem is to be taken seriously, we must have the participation of others in our community.
Neighbors residing in Channelside have now started a petition with both on line and to your door availability.
If you have been bothered by the constant day and night barking of the unattended dogs at this residence, please join us in creating change and harmony for all residing in the area by signing our petition.

Representatives in your area have gathered together, and are attempting to settle this diligently, with a goal of making it clear to the uncooperative pet's owner that this issue does in fact impact an entire community.
Many residents in the same area who also have pets do so by owning them responsibly, and having respect for their neighbors.
