Educate our Kids Today

For decades the Canton Public School District has systematically failed its students and has not put forth any effort to inspire them to reach for academic excellence; furthermore, has done a poor job hiring transformative teachers and providing those teachers that care with the necessay resources and tools to create change in a challenging environment.  Fundamentally, the district continues to experience high dropout rates and continues to fail students with socioeconomic barriers that impede them from being as successful as other students that have outside networks to guide and encourage them through the educational process.
The goal of this petition is to help bring awareness to the school district that there are parents that will like to see changes in education and to help parents get involve in the political process of creating that change.  With these two bodies working and collaboratingn together, change is possible but it takes a willingness to get involve.
