Respected Sir/madam,
My hearty greetings to you Sir. As you have known that I have been serving in and through Project Concern International as Senior Social Mobiliser since 20th January 2005 till 30th April 2006 in the tenure of Tsunami relief and rehabilitation Programme at Nagapattinam. I have rendered my service and committed in the activities of PCI in Vedaraniam area even before I was appointed as one of the staffs in the Team of PCI. Everyone is aware of my work and my dedicated service. That fate and pity it was on the 28th of September 2005 that I had met with a major accident in the afternoon around 03.00 p.m. when I was asked by the Project Manager to attend the meeting at Nagapattinam Project Concern International Office.
After a month were passed after a series of treatments for my ailment, the Doctors had operated my Knee and fixed ; K wire%u2019 on my right leg. And they declared that to remove this K wire and avail treatment for Arthroscopy. The probable cost for the treatment may be of 1.5 lakhs. My collar bones on the right and left side got fractured. Almost both right and left side collar bones were grievously affected resulting permanent immobile nature.
Finally, after a month the Doctors medically declared that Right hand will never function hereafter due to brachial plexus injury at the right hand side. So, at present I am declared handicapped (65%) due to my inability to mobilize my hands for any work and day to day activities.
In the very young age of 27 years I have been drastically met with an accident as a result of which 65% of my body has been disabled. I doubt that whether I am rightly be eligible to get marry a girl. Whether any girl may get marry me are not. These are all the doubts stands before me while I thing about the married life of mine.
Almost I would have to forget the happiness arised out of married life and I would have to forget about the offspring also. About 75% of my life I would have to lead further. In that context, if I am incapable, handicap, immobile of about 65% disabled, I would not think about my life positively. So, I will lose my hope and faith about the flourishing nature of my future life. Being the eldest of the family, the burden to lead my family is enormous. I have to concentrate over the future life of my successors and dependants.
My present disabilities are:
* My Right hand is numb and inactive.
* I am not able to walk properly due to operation on my right leg
* I have completely lost my hope in life but I am still trying to make up my psychological condition.
* Due to this condition my future life has become a big question mark
* I am jobless at Present and have to lead my life as an orphan.
* Presently my economic condition is very poor and pathetic.
Kindly consider my case as a genuine one. With comprehensive mind and dedicated thought, help me even overtaking ordinary norms. If you extent your cooperation, in granting me financial assistance that will lead to un-expressible gratitude to you, institution and your family till the life of earth. I Pray your esteemed organization to pay sympathy over me and yield me a positive response. I myself and my family members will remain thankful to you for ever, kindly consider my obligation and offer me a positive reply.
