REDUCE OUR STREET'S POLLUTION FROM CARS

If our bollards were demolished then we would save hundreds of kilograms of CO2 every year because it allows cars to easily exit our street, instead of taking a detour. It would also increase safety if there was less traffic coming through the detour.
We the undersigned, have
read the story with regards to the amount of traffic travelling through a detour in a small village in Somerset, that affects the well-being of the people that live there, and also contributes to the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. We believe that the bollards, that reduce traffic flow, should be demolished, allowing the distances of travels to be lessened and letting the burden of those living around the area of the detour to be lifted.
