Rockdale County Water Rate Increase Petition 2009

I'm not sure how many people noticed that their water bill increased about 300% last month, but Rockdale County Board of Commisioners (RCBC) thought everyone in Rockdale County should pay off their debt.  The (RCBC) had new elected members in 2009, and those members walked into an office with a large debt of over a million $.  They have millions in reserve, but decided to raise Rockdale County residents' water bill to around 300% to pay off their debt.  We don't have to sit idley by and allow them to take our money for no reason except that they decided to let us pick up their debt!!!  We can use this petition to speak out against them and get the rates changed back.  Signing this petition is one of the only ways we can speak out against this outrageous attempt to dump debt into our laps.  PLEASE SIGN!!!!!
