Many animals suffer each day because of cruel expirments. One company has mistreated and abused innocent animals such as dogs, cats, etc.
Iams also continues to perform invasive and deadly experiments on species other than cats and dogs. In one study, Iams gave Purdue University nearly $200,000 to conduct a two-year study in which experimenters taped the tails of mice and then raised their hind legs off the floor to cause the animals' muscle to deteriorate.
We need to make sure they know that it is wrong to use animals to experiment for thier own food. please help me stop the testing and torturing of these beautiful creatures.
Iams pet food company may put forth a wholesome animal-loving image, but it pays contract laboratories to conduct cruel nutritional tests on animals for research and product development. No matter how they feel about the ethics of using animals for experimentation. Iams' dogs and cats were confined in barren cement runs or small stainless-steel boxes, many for as long as six years. Dogs were often trapped and/or injured because they were forced to navigate and sleep on slatted flooring.
We feel very strongly about this company testing on innocent animals, we will not purchase any items from this company anymore, until this company stops this cruel testing. I hope this letter shows Iams that we will not stop until these experiments do. I wish for the best.
