A Year After Charlottesville, PayPal Is Still Supporting Racism

Following last year's violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville — that left counter-protester Heather Heyer dead — PayPal vowed to stop allowing racist groups to use its platform and profit off of hate. While the payment processor did drop some major white nationalist figures, many racist groups have continued to use the service.

There should be no place for race hatred or violence in our society. It's up to us to pressure PayPal to take a stand.

According to Huffington Post, PayPal specifically bans the promotion of hate and racial discrimination. And yet, it currently serves groups like the Three Percenters, a militia group used to protect white nationalists, and the Proud Boys, a far-right fascist group.

PayPal can limit the reach of violent hate groups, but for some reason, it is not.

Sign now to tell PayPal to stand up for love and civil rights by removing hate groups from its platform now.
