Quit giving us citations or give us a parking garage

I live on the campus of UofL in University Pointe apartments and I have a designated yellow parking lot next to Bettie Johnson Hall but who want to walk a mile from the back of the parking lot to get to their room especially in the dark. There are spots outside of the building but they're meter parking but who's going to pay to park in front of the building we live in? So we get citations every single day. There is more than enough room next to and in front of the building to build a parking garage for its tenants to park in and I believe that the parking meters need to be removed because no one is going to pay to park in front of them. I'm writing this petition because I know if we get enough signatures, it's bound to make something happen.
