Donald Trump is trying to turn our nation's most iconic and sacred building into a personal vanity project.
He is pushing to add a massive, gold-trimmed ballroom to the White House—complete with wildly inappropriate chandeliers, marble statues, and other stuff you'd expect from a guy with gold-plated toilets.
This isn't modernization. It's desecration.
The White House belongs to the people, not a wannabe king obsessed with glitz, glamor, and self-glorification. This plan would not only cost hundreds of millions, it would deface a symbol of democracy to satisfy one man's never-ending need for applause.
