Private military ensures warfare. If our country isn't at war, people who run private militaries will start a conflict with someone just to ensure job safety. Much like the war on Iraq, started by George Bush and his VP Dick Cheney, who is the former CEO of the major private military Halliburton. Starting a war so you can invade and use private military. That is blood for money. Plain and simple.
Private prisons do the same things as militaries, except they will ensure that people always go to prison. They encourage judges to take bribes from private prison wardens (such instances have already occurred) and they will ensure that no matter how 'free' of a nation we become, we will always be put in prison at the whim of private prisons.
Dear Sir or Madam,
We, the undersigned, believe it to be self-evident that the use of private military and private prisons are perpetuators of war and crime, and thus need to be removed from our society. We wish for the Government to step in and begin the abolition of both private military and private prisons. We believe that job security is not worth the price of starting wars and farming prisoners. Therefor, we seek to end their abusive structure within (3) years of the petition's release. We ,the undersigned, expect to see signs of improvement within (6) months of the release of the petition, by passing laws against private militaries starting conflicts without the backing of the U.N. We also expect within 1 year that private prisons only be allowed to transfer incarcerated prisoners who have been serving a portion (no shorter than 1 year) of their sentence at a state facility to a private prison, and to no longer be able detain recently sentenced criminals.
