Demand Whole Foods Discontinues Selling anti-LGBT Oberweis Products

Whole Foods (specifically in the Illinois market) sells dairy products by Oberweis Farms. Oberweis is owned by Jim Oberweis, Illinois State Senator from the 25th District. His views on Human Rights are alarming as they are discriminatory and thick with bigotry. They are not aligned to the majority of Illinoisans and seem contrary on Whole Foods market position, one of their eight core values is "We Serve and Support Our Local and Global Communities."

According to a Paul Simon Public Policy Institute taken in February 2016, 53% of Illinoisans were in favor of Gay Marriage, only 16% stated that they should not be allowed to marry, 25% were in favor of civil unions, but not marriage. He also does not believe in a woman's right to choose whats right for her regarding abortion.

For these reasons Jim Oberweis' values are not aligned to those of many Illinosans and Whole Foods in general therefore we want Whole Foods to stop selling Oberweis products.
