Stop county and states from taking peoples for crimes that are not aggressive or harmful to others

In Texas you get 3 to 5 for sexual crimes with kids, and drug charge you will get up 10 to 25 yrs . Can you see the mistake please correct this we have been caging people for non violent crime all for money states receive money for housing inmates also large grants for there state. We have fought for the right of persuit of happiness no one should be jailed for any non violent crime and to be clear any sex crime on kids should start at 25 yrs in prison
