Put a 100% STATE Tax on Payments from Trump's Slush Fund. Brilliant!

Donald Trump is spending your tax dollars for a $1.8 billion fund to "compensate" Trump's allies and supporters who claim they were victims of "weaponization" of the government. It's complete bullshit, he has no right to do it without approval of Congress -- but he's doing it anyway. And it not clear Congressional Republicans have the spine to stop him.

But maybe the states do.  And maybe they can make his payments worthless. 

Governor Newsom in California is pushing for a 100% tax on these payments.  And NY, Wisconsin, and other blue states are moving to do the same.  And this creative way to fight back could spread quickly to a LOT more states, even red ones, given how unpopular this slush fund is.
