Stop sea turtle egg harvesting
Every year in the country of Costa Rica, local people and villagers gather on the beaches and start collecting and harvesting thousands and thousands of the endangered sea turtle egg's to sell and eat. Sea turtles go to the beaches to lay their egg's in their thousands.
Sadly, the turltes just have to lie on the beach and watch their young egg's get stolen from them. Sea turtles face many many more threats too, like pollution, boat propellers, poaching, climate change and many many more.
This barbaric and cruel act just cannot be tolerated in this day and age. So if you would like to end this cruel act, then please sign this petition to the Costa Rican Government, persauding them to BAN this act for good.
We the Undersigned, are here today, to help persaude the honourable Costa Rican Government to ban the practice of harvesting endangered sea turtles eggs. We find this act extremely cruel and unnecessary and think it should be banned immediately. If we all do not act on this now, the majestic, beautiful and endangered sea turtle that sustains life in our oceans, could become extinct.
