SAVE THE SLEDDING HILL!!

Longmont city council has suggested to build on this property at there last meeting. They are wanting to build a rec center in place of this hill. Community members near and far have used this space to build core family memories. Not to mention that this also sits in a nature preserve.
There are numerous lots that can be used to build another rec center, because we do already have one and the YMCA at our disposal. They can build it at the vacant lot where the old Walmart used to be. Or the YMCA is talking about buy centennial pool and moving there. Build a new rec center at that facility.
What we need to do is protect the land and use what we have already built on. If we keep expanding, instead of rebuilding our city will fall and then we have no choice but to rebuild. But our wildlife and sanctuaries will be gone.
