Dedicated Community Members,
As one of the few small businesses prohibited from having outdoor seating, we are hoping that with your support, the Oak Park Village's temporary decision on our outdoor beer chalet will grow permanent. For 6 years, we've been honored to provide Oak Park with a welcoming hub to grab a beer and enjoy one another's company. We feel that we have built a tight knit community here for both humans and pups alike. A primary role in that is how we've given our patrons a bit of agency in how our bar operates. Once coined by a local paper as "Oak Park's Living Room," we've always kept that sentiment with us, letting it be the driving force that helps us maintain our shop culture.
As current village guidelines stand, our sidewalk is too small for tables and a retractable front window would be against health code. Our principal request is that the Village of Oak Park begins to see the importance of collaborating with small businesses more closely to help us thrive and stick around for longer.
