There are a consideral amount of cities in Ontario, many smaller than North Bay, who have dog parks. We request this park for the benefit of animals who may not be getting proper socialization, who may not have enough room to run and get proper exercise, and for the benefit of the elderly or disabled, who may not be able to take their dogs for proper walks. It is within every person’s right to own an animal, and by providing a dog park, the City of North Bay would be ensuring that everyone is able to access this right.
We, the undersigned, support the creation of an off-leash dog park for the City of North Bay.

The dog park would give people with common interests, their pets, a place to gather. A dog park would also allow those without a pet a place to come and socialize with animals.
