This petition demands that ALL our elected officials come up with a viable strategy to put daily pressure on the Biden Administration and other elected officials to pass ALL current voter rights legislation with a carve out of the filibuster to do so if need be,
Recently a significant group of pro voter rights activists zoomed with officials from the Biden Administration including Vice President Kamala Harris to see what kind of strategies they had developed to pass voter rights legislation even within their own party. Many reported leaving the meeting with the dour impression that there was NO real strategy. It is December now, and precious months have passed with very little has been done to save our previous right to vote and save democracy. Widespread voter suppression laws and gerrymandering practices have been put into place to virtually ensure the end of democratically elected offices being fairly tallied. This likely means the end of democracy if it succeeds. Many of you WANT to do something about voter rights legislation. Do it, NOW!
