Did you know most states do not impose a duty to "take home asbestos"? That means millions of innocent family members of employees that worked with asbestos and brought it home with them and made their innocent family members sick with Mesothelioma and other asbestos related diseases are not getting compensated from the companies held responsible. These companies knew of the dangers of employees leaving their premises with asbestos dust but most did nothing about it although they were told to.
These people are getting away with murder!! All they care about is money. Their money not the pain and suffering of innocent hard working people and family members.
My mother battled Meso for two years. She fought a hard fight and her battle came to an end on January 1, 2012. Since she caught this disease "second hand" most jurisdictions think it's ok to let employers get away with this. It is not right!!! If employers didn't take the precautions they were supposed to take then millions of innocent wives, children and others would not be loosing their lives!! This needs to CHANGE AND IT NEEDS TO CHANGE NOW!!!
