Create a Memorial for Terry and Orlin Norris

They have erected memorials for other people associated with Lubbock based on their accomplishments. Is being a World Champion in the sport of Boxing not considered an accomplishment? Why is their accomplishments any less than the other people you have memorials for there?
Perhaps, its is because they are from East Lubbock. The side of town that is annexed from the rest of the city. A Predominantly African American Community. Don't you think creating a memorial for the Norris brothers there would give people a sense of self importance and self pride. The significance of their achievements would be very much meaningful to the citizens there. Their acknowledgement is long overdue. CREATE A MEMORIAL FOR TERRY AND ORLIN NORRIS. Two World Champions Respected Nationally so why not locally in one of America's oldest past times.
