Save East Potomic Park from Trumps destruction

The East Potomic Park was created by the Army of Engineers in the 1930's by dredging the slit filled Potomac River. It has been a public park, housing some of the original cherry blossom trees gifted by the Japanese, a small affordable public golf course, a picnic area, bike way, and the Jefferson Memorial.
Trump has canceled the lease to the golf course, removed it from the National Park Service, and has started dumping debris onto it. The debris is from his demolition of the beloved and historic East Wing of the Whitehouse.
He wants to create one of his grand golf courses on this land, without public comment, local or Congressional approval, or evidence of a plan and funding. If this comes to pass the inexpensive public amenities will disappear. The gifted cherry trees may be removed.
Trumps over reach of obtaining and altering the public lands and spaces must end and be evaluated. Keep the East Potomac Park and goft course public and inexpensive.
