Stop Gun Store from Opening Next To Preschool and Children's Athletic Facility!

Please help stop a gun store from opening next to a preschool and children’s athletic center! Owner and former Olympian, Kristie Phillips Bannister, opened KPAC Gymnastics in Statesville, NC 10 years ago with the sole purpose of providing a safe haven for children to go and be a child; free from the worries of society and a safe place to play and just be a kid. The property next door to KPAC has recently been rezoned and the proposed buyers want to open a store that will sell weapons, guns, and ammunition.

We are seeking to prevent opening a facility of this kind right next door to a preschool and children's athletic center. Unfortunately, despite efforts to educate the Iredell County Planning Board on the intended use of the property, the preliminary rezoning that would allow this to happen was passed.
