Demand a Change to Reduce Speed in the Community!

We the people who live on and use Railroad Grade Road, State Road are requesting that the current non-posted 55 MPH be posted with white signs in downtown Fleetwood, NC as 25 MPH and downtown Todd 20 MPH. The balance of Railroad Grade posted with white 35 MPH signs. The cause of concern is the children who play outside, the tourists who visit our beautiful area, and the residents who drive it daily. The road is not completely paved and is very curvy. 55 MPH is way too fast to travel this road SAFELY. It would be safer for everyone if the speed limit was reduced. We need 1000 signatures in order to make our roads SAFER and to ensure this change happens! Thank you!
