Increase Funding for Schools

We need to invest in our future today. For too long our schools have been falling apart, are riddled with mold, face overcrowding, and are always in need of additional resources. Approximately 90% of education funding comes from state and local sources. However, funding has not kept pace with the amount of students we have. According to research by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, per pupil funding is lower today than it was in 2008 in 23 states. We need to place a priority on educating the future generation.
