Reinstate Economic Sanctions Against Burma for Abuse Against Ethnic Nationalities

The UN has reported over and over factual reports regarding the human rights violations against the ethnic nationalities including the Bamar, Chin, Kachin, Karen, Kayah, Mon, Rakhine, and Shan.

The Burmese Army continues to commit human rights violations against the ethnic minorities. Until the Parliament in Burma removes all military influence, and is truly a civilian entity, this will not stop.

This petition is to request the United States of America to reinstate the economic sanctions that were lifted last year by then President Obama. It is requested that the sanctions be increased until the Burmese Army relinquishes control of Parliament.

In addition, this petition is requesting that the ethnic minorities are given autonomy for their respective lands.
