Stop the Outrageous Suggestion of Civil War Against Obama!

Lubbock County Judge Tom Head wants to increase the county's property tax rate by 1.7 cents in the next year.

This is not unusual - but the reason for the tax increase is that he wants to use it partly to make sure that the sheriff's department is ready for battle with "UN troops" that will apparently take over the country if Barack Obama is elected again in 2012.

He said that Obama is going to try to give the sovereignty of the US to the UN, and that he thinks "civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe" will happen. He also added, "we're talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy."

Tell Tom Head that these words of war against the president of our country are despicable and extremely inappropriate!

Dear Lubbock County Judge Tom Head,

Your proposal to use a tax increase on property of 1.7 cents to partly fund the sheriff's department in order to "prepare for battle" if Obama is re-elected is despicable.

You said that UN troops will take over the country and that a "civil war" might happen as a result. How can you justify using words of war against the president of our country? Please stop these hateful words immediately.
