HORSE SLAUGHTER MUST STOP

*Horses are companion animals.

*Horse slaughter is cruel and inhumane. As companion animals, they deserve protection under animal welfare laws.

*80% of Americans are opposed to horse slaughter.

*The majority of horses have been treated with drugs, insecticides, and worming medications not acceptable in food production.

*Horses are abused before and during slaughter. They are whipped - prodded - beaten - repeatedly impacted by captive bolts - dragged - hoisted - and bled out while still alive - pregnant mares give birth on the kill room floor - foals are slaughtered as well.

WE DEMAND A BAN AGAINST HORSE SLAUGHTER AND EXPORT FOR SLAUGHTER.
