Less KY laws on perscribing medications.

These days more and more doctors are feeling the pressure from law makers to stop prescribing pain medication. I was told by my heart surgeon, "He was at a medical conference and they was discussing cutting patients use of pain medication off after 3 days". I had bypass surgery a few months ago. My heart surgeon stopped my supply of pain medication after about a month or so. I was still in a lot of pain so, I consulted my heart doctor, my family doctor and even the pain clinic that my heart surgeon recommended. They all turned me down flat! My family doctor said "he wouldn't risk loosing his license". I have never abused drugs of any kind in my life. I think that the use of any medications should be left between doctors and patients. Law makers have no place in deciding what, I can use. I know there are people who go to doctors, hospitals and clinics, just looking to get drugs to get high or sell them on the streets for profit. But these bad apples shouldn't prevent anyone from getting medication that, anyone desperately needs. Even our president Donald J. Trump, has spoken in the news of war on Opioids. There is no reason that laws, should allow anyone to suffer from pain! I personally, think they have gone to far with these laws. "Laws are for honest people".

If you would like to see these medication restricting laws changed, to allow doctors to give out medications based on there medical knowledge, experience and patient needs. Please sign this petition. Thanks..

Our medical system is broken! Doctors should be held to a higher standard and review patients more closely. Doctors should be reviewed, rather than letting any patient suffer with pain. We understand the need for some of the existing medication laws, but we don't fully agree with all of them. Please consider changing the laws to let doctors decide if patients need the use of medications.
