All Stores Should Be Closed on Thanksgiving Day!

All my life Thanksgiving has been one of the most wonderful holiday traditions in the USA because it is a time for people to come together and take time to enjoy the day. Commercialism in this country has slowly stolen away this being together time because stores insist on being open so they can make money, and this keeps people away from their precious gatherings of loved ones and furthermore destroys the meaning of the entire holiday for many people in this country. Gratitude and helping and caring for others is what gives life meaning and brings happiness and inner fulfillment to all people, NOT shopping and obtaining things that money can buy. Thanksgiving is one day each year where those values should be honored and placed above everything else!!
